About Me

Hi, my name is Laura (she/they) and I am a queer massage therapist and bodyworker based in Bristol, UK.
After graduating from a music degree in London I spent three years working in management and administration in the complementary health industry while completing my training, firstly in Thai Yoga Massage in 2017 and later Holistic/Swedish massage.
Working part-time as a massage therapist from home, I began to notice how much I valued working with clients from a diverse background, and how the complex relationship with the body can be so influenced by our identities, and the different issues and struggles that can arise in different groups.
I decided to begin to educate myself on the issues faced by different groups of people to create as inclusive a practice as possible. In 2020 I founded social enterprise Inclusive Wellness which aims to expand this beyond my own practice and increase access to health and wellbeing services for people from marginalised or disadvantaged backgrounds.
I feel hugely privileged to do the work I find myself doing now, and I look forward to continuing to learn and develop as a therapist and practitioner.

My interests include plants, ethical living, feminism, music, non-fiction books, podcasts, swimming and being outdoors.

I look forward to meeting you!
